PainesPlough at Shakespeare's Globe
New Plays for an Epic Stage

Paines Plough is an award-winning, nationally and internationally renowned, theatre company, specialising exclusively in the commissioning and development of contemporary playwrights and the production of their work.
Future Perfect is a group of seven writers identified by Paines Plough, Channel Four and Film Four as the most talented and thrilling young playwrights of their generation. They were on attachment to Paines Plough for a year taking part in writing projects designed to inspire them to take an ambitious approach to playwriting.
Future Perfect aims to create a space for these writers to explore their individual voices through demanding projects and provocative sessions that are designed to challenge and inspire an ambitious approach to playwriting.
Globe Education inspired Paines Plough's Future Perfect playwrights to create mini plays for Shakespeare’s Globe. Writers work was staged at the Globe stage when seven script-in-hand premieres were performed by professional actors – many of whom have previously acted on the Globe stage.
