EIP Youth Theatre Application Form
We are thrilled to announce that our Southwark Community Youth Theatre, hosted by Shakespeare’s Globe and run in partnership with Southwark EIP is continuing and the Autumn term will start on Wednesday 24th September 2008, 4.30-6.00pm. The Youth Theatre offers an exciting opportunity for primary students aged between 8-11 to engage and explore with other pupils in Southwark, working in collaboration with Globe Education.
Globe Education Practitioners will work with young people to develop their teamwork, self esteem and performance skills. Through practical workshop sessions, including time in the Globe Theatre space, members of the Youth Theatre will deepen understanding of themselves, each other and the wider Southwark community.
In the Autumn term 2008, Youth Theatre members will be working together to compose a song that they will perform on the Globe Stage as part of this year’s A Concert for Winter. The A Concert for Winter performance is on Thursday 11th December at 1pm.
